The Copperhead motorcycle ride is a thrilling and scenic route that takes riders through the beautiful landscapes of North Carolina. This ride is known for its winding roads, breathtaking views, and challenging terrain. The ride start in the North Carolina Town of Brevard, southwest of Asheville, and continues in the Pisgah Forest on Route 276 NC. The first waterfall you must stop at the famous Looking Glass Falls. After taking some photos you will know what this ride is about. Water and the twist and turns like a Copperhead Snake.
Riders can expect to navigate tight curves and steep inclines as they make their way through the picturesque mountains and forests of Woodrow NC down Route 215 NC towards Rosman. A rocky creek winds through the woods at the base of several hikable peaks hidden just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Wildlife enthusiasts are encouraged to explore, on foot or mountain-bike, anywhere within our 170 acres (or the adjoining 250 acres owned by the US Forestry Service off our Western border) and are likely to catch glimpses of turkey, beaver, deer, fox, bobcat, coyote, bear, eastern box turtle and the many species of songbird and raptor. When you’re at Tanglewood you may feel a million miles away from it all but you are conveniently close to some of the Blue Ridge mountains most treasured gems (see some of our favorite local attractions here). From sightseeing, hiking and tubing to shopping, dining, even wine tasting, the following are just a few of our favorite things to do within a short drive: visit Linville Falls, Caverns, Gorge and/or Winery; drive the Blue Ridge parkway; tube/kayak down the Catawba river; hike beautiful Crabtree Falls; cross Grandfather Mountains mile high bridge and explore the nearby towns of Spruce Pines and Little Switzerland. The scenic drives to Asheville, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk make them each wonderful day-trip destinations as well.

Charlie and Kathy, two of three owners, enjoyed making grape wine and beer at home. After suffering with tinnitus and hearing loss, Charlie discovered that he had a gluten allergy that was the cause. This resulted in him o longer able to drink beer. So Charlie and Kathy started to make mead – “the Nectar of the gods.” Using honey from their own bee hives they began producing amazingly good tasting mead.

The Foothills Parkway 339 motorcycle ride is a thrilling journey through the picturesque foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Riders can expect sweeping curves, breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, a perfect balance of challenging twists and turns, combined with serene natural beauty. The finished highways of the Foothills Parkway are divided into four parts. Each part that is completed is some of the most beautiful landscapes in all four seasons and worth the effort in making it a worthwhile ride. The Western Segment is 33 miles at the southern portion of the parkway from US129 in Chilhowee TN to US 321 in Wears Valley TN. This section can be easily accessed after taking the US129DragonsTail.com or “Tail of the Dragon” motorcycle ride. The Eastern Segment is 5.6 miles at the most northern portion and can be accessed from Interstate I-40 from Hartford TN traveling towards Cosby TN. The third segment completed they call the “Foothills Parkway Spur” which is 4.3 miles long and starts in Gatlinburg and ends in Pigeon Forge. The remainder, “Missing Link” section is still being constructed. The Foothills Parkway 339 motorcycle ride promises an unforgettable experience for all who embark on it. Terry and Debbie Perry own and operate Perry’s Berry’s Vineyard & Winery. What started as a way to bring our family closer together has grown into a passion to help others experience the same. Terry spent many summers picking blueberries in the mountains of North Carolina. Debbie’s descends from a farming family. The Perry’s desire for their four grandchildren to experience the joy of picking blueberries grew into a family business. In 2013, with the help of family and friends the Perry’s opened their blueberry farm to the public.
The farm was established in 2009.
The Perry’s have planted over 3500 blueberry bushes. In addition to offering pick your own blueberries, they supply blueberries to local breweries, grocery stores, bakeries and ice cream shops. There are several bee hives located throughout the farm for pollination of the berries. You will also find Scuppernong and Muscadine grapes, as well as pears, apples, plum and cherry trees on the farm.
Perry’s Berry’s Winery was added in July 2020. We are excited to offer our Blueberry Wine made with 100% blueberries from our farm.

The Park is at about 1800′ elevation in the middle of the Pisgah National Forest, nestled in a narrow valley surrounded by mountains on all sides. Because we love feeding our growing community, that means we needed a little more elbow space and we made the big decision to move our location to the old Fatz Café right across the street!
